Brittany Nicole Ross went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Trinity West Hospital, after a two-year battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
Brittany was born unexpectantly into the world, three months prematurely, on November 10, 1986, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. At that time, there were many that didn't believe that she would survive, weighing in at just one pound and ten ounces. At the very beginning of her life, she was a fighter. A relentless and courageous steadfast warrior with mountain-moving faith.
Brittany was a devoted and faithful member of the Greater Zion Temple Family Worship Center. She joyfully served in the Children's church, on the Praise and Worship team, choir, member of the Women 's ministry, and the Usher board. her favorite scripture was Galatians 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well-doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not"
Brittany attended and graduated from Steubenville City Schools, June 2006. She proudly graduated from Eastern Gateway Community College in May 2010. She also studied at Youngstown State University.
To say that Brittany was special would be an incredible understatement. She was an absolute light that permeated through her and everyone she knew; touching lives by simply being her authentic self.
Brittany is survived by her parents, John M. Ross, Melinda M., and David Iverson, her siblings John Christopher and Brianne Rachae Ross, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Greater Zion Temple Family 500 North Fifth Street, in Steubenville, OH, with funeral services following at noon.
